It’s that time again! It’s April, which means it’s time for the Poem-a-Day Challenge. This is my third time taking on the challenge, and every year is a little different. I’m already behind (and it’s only day 5!), but I’m looking forward to a month of forcing myself to write. 😉
The prompt for Day 1 was, “write a resistance poem”. So without further ado…

When she rides against the wind
the trip is 7 minutes longer
And with the extra time
she contemplates that line
that one thing she said
that she can’t take back
and she pedals even harder.
